Posted October 22, 2001 · Report post Here's one photo of the Stockholm concert. Intentionally I didn't cut the head in front, just to show it was taken from 9th row!

Posted October 23, 2001 · Report post OK, here's the list from Anna and me. These are only the Dalaras songs as we didn't know Maria Iakobou's apart from 'Dynata'. There's also one of the last songs missing - things were getting a bit hectic by then. Maybe Hedda knows what these were: Enas compos I hara mou Aspro peristeri Ta Vengalida sou matia Trelos yia sena Notos Tou erota Mia vrathina sto Leverkusen Thartho na se vro Ta Fantasmata To polaplo sou eidolo O palios stratiotis To palto Theos an einai San ton metanasti Mikri patrida Hasta siempre Nichta .. i kardia mou theli na petaksi Ki an se thelo Karavia stin steria To Pepromeno An iparxi logos Min mou theimoneis matia mou I fantasia Ola kala Stin Alana O ouranos fevyei vareis Pounai ta xronia Sagapo Kali tixi
Posted October 23, 2001 · Report post I guess there were three songs by Maria in the beginning of the second set: the first one I didn't hear (ok, ok - I was having a beer in the bar) but the second was Gia ton mation sou to xroma from Eleftheria Arvanitaki's Ekpompi -album. And after that came Dynata, dynata.
Posted October 24, 2001 · Report post Just for completeness: he also sang Giorti Zeibekidon from the Asia Minor album sometime near the end.
Posted October 24, 2001 · Report post One more addition: also in the middle of the first set Maria Iakobou sang alone at least one song - I think it was Sta nera na perpatisw by Eleftheria Arvanitaki. Please comment this, cause I'm not quite sure of it...
Posted October 25, 2001 · Report post Yiapos, I would if I could!! I don't know this song of E. Arvanitaki! But for sure the song 'Idolo' was in the 2nd half, I think we mixed a little! But I remember the 1st song of the concert, the instrumental opening was: Όταν έρχονται τα σύννεφα' from Χατζιδάκις.
Posted October 26, 2001 · Report post He also sang 'Karavia sti steria'..I can't remember when though...

Posted October 28, 2001 · Report post Anna great pics of the concert! I liked the ones with Karantidithis next to Dalaras. And no I didn't know he plays percussion instruments. Tell me how did security and the staff allow you to take pictures up close while the performance was going on? Here in the states, they will ban all sorts of camera and other recording devices both (audio, video and digital) inside a theartre auditorium. Nevertheless, they were good and thanks for posting. Posted October 28, 2001 · Report post Christo, of course there was a sign at the entrance, something with photos, but as my swedish is not perfect, I wasn't able to read!! So I just waited until the first flash went on. Then I started. But I took all photos while sitting on my chair ( 9th row) of course with a zoom! And I'm always trying not to disturb the performance, especially when Dalaras is singing!
Posted October 29, 2001 · Report post There was a total prohibition against all sound recordings, video recordings and photography, but many didn't care. Anyway, as long as people don't use the photos in commercial ways, no harm is done.
