This is a good topic I was thinking of starting one myself, but I never could because it's so hard for me to just choose the top 5.
You see, I love almost all of Dalaras songs and yes some more than others but if I had to choose well lets see how about:
1. Paraponemena Logia
2. Alana
3. Mi Milas Kindinevi H Ellas
4. Mi Yirisis Pia
5. H Elei Kai Eleutheri Orawai
And that doesn't begin to scratch the surface. This won't even get us in the ballpark not along to mention 1st base.
How about including the top 10
for the next topic or the next 5 etc., etc.?

It's a little bit funny with this song. I know Dalaras' voice since 1983,collected some of his music and liked to hear it. But I became really fan in 1994, after the 1st time I saw him live on stage.
Can you imagine my reaction, when I heard in 1997: Dalaras is singing about your town! I couldn't believe! The refain of this song is easy to understand. And you know what's so funny? I'm working in the townhall and this building is next to the railway station, so every day I'm liego exo ap'to stathmo. Nice way to honour a fan, isn't it?
No, I'm joking, they didn't it for me.

I bought the record a week ago, put it on... the first bars of the song sounded... and I knew it! Instantly! When I was a child, we used to sing it by the campfires, in the french version by Moustaki. I used to love it then and still know most of the french lyrics by heart. And all this time I never realized it was a real Greek song first!
