Posted July 11, 2004 · Report post Not that I know of - he let Andreatos do it Zygos (hear 'Apo Kardias'). Irrelevant: one day last january I was stuck in a snowstorm between Iannena and Thessaloniki, plowing blindly through the drifts at 30km/h with the snow chains on, and si I called the person who was expecting me to say I would be 'a bit late', and why. So he said 'be careful will you!' and I said "don't worry, κι αν χιονίζει και αν βρέχει τ' αγριολούλουδο αντέχει' - meaning to reassure him, nothing more, and grabbing the first greek sentence that came to mind (my spoken greek then had about 20% its present speed). But Antonis laughed, and laughed, and laughed... and his friend who was next to him at the time promptly invited me to dinner to get a closer look at that weird dutchwoman. True story... Great song. Posted July 11, 2004 · Report post Well, another irrelevant thing ( ): This song introduced me to Kazantzidhs years ago... This song introduced my friend Paul (the one with whome I was sharing the same chair in Dalaras' concert) to Kazantzidhs too (NB: Paul's father adores Kazantzidhs). But it is remarcable that Paul and I were attracted through one particular part of the song: Σπίτι μου είναι ο δρόμος και τραγούδι μου ο πόνος I didn't know that he liked the song because of these lines till last year!!!! With all my respect tou Andreatos and X. Alexiou...their performances never impressed me I couldn't feel the pain in their voice... They couldn't substitute Kazantzidhs expression The only one who can do it right is Dalaras...Who knows...maybe someday he takes that "risk"
