Posted May 18, 2004 · Report post My Greek teacher recently loaned me a copy of a CD by Nena Venetsanou, called Ikones. I was very impressed with the quality and clarity of her voice, particularly on the tracks that she sang without music. However, her name is entirely new to me, and I wondered if anyone here would be able to give me some information - how long has she been singing, how popular is she, what do other members think about her voice and music? Posted June 3, 2008 · Report post Eίναι από τις φορές που μια επανεκτέλεση έργου έχει νόημα ύπαρξης! Μιλάω για την κυκλοφορία του cd ΠΡΟΣΑΝΑΤΟΛΙΣΜΟΙ σε μουσική Ηλ.Ανδριόπουλου πάνω σε ποίηση του Οδ. Ελύτη με ερμηνεύτρια τη Νένα Βενετσάνου. Η πρώτη εκτέλεση ανήκει στην ’λκηστη Πρωτοψάλτη (προ "Χαβάης" εποχή :blink: ) που είχε κυκλοφορήσει το 1984. Αργότερα (1996) κυκλοφόρησε σε live εκδοχή (Ηρώδειο) και πάλι από την Πρωτοψάλτη. Εδώ τα τραγούδια ακούγονται γυμνά, με τη συνοδεία μόνο πιάνου. Στο πιάνο είναι ο Αντώνης Ανισέγκος. Η Βενετσάνου φωτίζει άγνωστες πτυχές των τραγουδιών μ' έναν ξεχωριστό τρόπο, εξάλλου΄υπερτερεί φωνητικά της Πρωτοψάλτη, που το έργο φαντάζει "καινούριο". Ένα ακόμα cd που έχει λόγο ύπαρξης!
