Micki, thank you saying it! I like Louloudi too, but no one else seems to. It's not serious or something I suppose.

However, my favourite today is still O Balamos.

Haunting, haunted... Unbelievably beautiful...

ok my favorite song this week is

   'Mavra Aspra'

I remember it first sung on the Video "Live in Katrakeio" and when I bought the cd version it was absolutey incredible.

The decibles from the bass on this song is astonishing and when Darlas sings the chorus line with such emphasis and devotion,  I feel like I'm on that roller coaster again

going down long hills and bending corkscrew side twists over and over again!!

 all so great!!

This song has a good taximi in it too.

I can't quite make out the instrument though.

It could be from a synthesizer.

Good tume by the way from composer

 "Giorgios Zikas"

 Anybody else like this song?

 Drugs??

Did someone here say Drugs?

LOL

Nikolas would you care to elaborate more on this please?    Are you saying Dalaras sings a drug song?

Like for example, "Puff the Magic Dragon"?

Yes please do tell and don't leave anything out

 Another "Hasiklidiko trayoudi"

  LOL

Hello to everyone.

As today is the first day of a new week, my favourite song for this week is "Mia Deytera". "Mes ston kosmo mia Deytera anoi3a pania/de logariasa ti sfaira kai ti maxairia...".Wonderful words, that inspire passion and self-denial, don't you think?

hello All! First time here since i registered!  My favourite song...this week... hmmm..."Se Kseno Oneiro" from the newest album of George the Great!!!!.... Magnificent......

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Not just a song, today, a whole record:

50 χρόνια ρεμπεέτικο τραγούδι

I borrowed it this morning from... (you're not going to believe this) Nijmegen Public Library!!

I never thought before to check if they had any Dalaras, did not expect any... you should have seen my face!!! when I found they have FOUR  yes 4  This one and the Xarcharkos concert (which I borrowed), plus the international releases 'a portrait' and 'the running roads' (which were already lent to someone else!)

Θα 'ρθω να σε βρω οπου και να 'σαι...

My favourite today is "Theos an einvai". When it is raining for more than one day, the sky is grey, I really pray for some sunshine.

And if everything goes right I WILL have first week of October, going to Crete !!! Yes, I'm really looking forward to it.

I have another song every day. Today, so obvious (if you woke up in Belgium that is, maybe also in The Netherlands, Geeske?) : "Ekso vrechei".

I'm not (yet) feeling down about it, it's just a fact. (besides, for those of you who don't know yet, I'm going to Crete soon).
