For me it is o.k. too (and I hope I will be able to come).

Today I passed at the Konzerthaus and so here is a small description for those who will come by Metro:

1. If you use the Metro it is the line U 4.

2. The station you have to leave the Metro is "Stadtpark".

3. At the platform there are two directions you can leave the station. Choose the one for which the legend at the platform says "Johannesgasse".

4. Out from the metro-station you have in front of you the big building of the Hotel Intercontinental. The broad street on the right side of the building (passing the traffic lights) is the Lothringerstraße. The Konzerthaus is about 100 or 150 meters behind the Hotel Intercontinental, along this street.

Something else: Check your tickets: Above in the right corner there should be a remark "Gilt als Fahrschein in Wien". That means: You need no own ticket for using public transport (Metro, tram, municipal busses) within Vienna in a certain time period (2 hours before until 6 hours after the beginning of the concert). Your ticket for the concert is a guilty ticket for the public transport within this time!

Εξήγησα παραπάνω πώς μπορεί να φτάσει κανείς στο Konzerthaus χρησιμοποιώντας το μετρό ("U 4"). Όποιος χρειάζεται την πληροφορία και στα ελληνικά ας το πει προκειμένου να την ξαναγράψω.

Επίσης ανέφερα ότι το εισιτήριο για τη συναυλία ισχύει ταυτόχρονα ως εισιτήριο για τα μέσα μαζικής μεταφοράς στη Βιέννη (μετρό, τραμ, αστικά λεωφορεία) μέσα στο εξής χρονικό διάστημα: 2 ώρες πριν μέχρι και 6 ώρες μετά την έναρξη της συναυλίας. (Βεβαιωθείτε το εισιτήριό σας να γράφει στην δεξιά γωνία επάνω: "Gilt als Fahrschein in Wien".)

Why not meet there??

To avoid misunderstandings: Lothringerstraße 20 is the "Konzerthaus" itself. As far as I found out in the Internet, the Café Conzert is at number 22, that means the next door or building after the Konzerthaus.

Με το Γιώργο Νταλάρα κορυφώνεται το «Ελληνικό φθινόπωρο στη Βιέννη»

Με τον ανεπανάληπτο Γιώργο Νταλάρα και την ορχήστρα του, που θα παρουσιάσουν στο φημισμένο «Μέγαρο Συναυλιών Βιέννης» τα χαρακτηριστικότερα δείγματα του ρεμπέτικου τραγουδιού, κορυφώνονται μεθαύριο Σάββατο οι εκδηλώσεις που πραγματοποιούνται από τα μέσα Σεπτεμβρίου στην αυστριακή πρωτεύουσα με το γενικό τίτλο «Ελληνικό φθινόπωρο στη Βιέννη». Το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της μεθαυριανής συναυλίας του Γιώργου Νταλάρα θα καλύψει ένα αφιέρωμα στον δημοφιλέστερο και πολυγραφότατο Ελληνα λαϊκό συνθέτη, τον Βασίλη Τσιτσάνη, το οποίο ο μεγάλος τραγουδιστής είχε πρωτοπαρουσιάσει το Φεβρουάριο του 2001 στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών σε σκηνοθεσία Σταμάτη Φασουλή με τον τίτλο «Οτι κι αν πω δεν σε ξεχνώ», του ομότιτλου τραγουδιού. Στο υπόλοιπο μέρος της συναυλίας ο Γιώργος Νταλάρας θα ερμηνεύσει έξι γνωστές επιτυχίες του Μάρκου Βαμβακάρη, όπως επίσης τραγούδια που άφησαν εποχή, των Απόστολου Καλδάρα, Θόδωρου Δερβενιώτη, Απόστολου Χατζηχρήστου, Σπύρου Περιστέρη, Κώστα Σκαρβέλη και Γ. Κυριαζή. Η συναυλία του Γιώργου Νταλάρα - για την οποία τα σχεδόν 2.000 εισιτήρια έχουν εξαντληθεί από τον περασμένο Ιούλιο - εντάσσεται στο φεστιβάλ «Τα παιδιά του Ολύμπου» στο Μέγαρο Συναυλιών Βιέννης, το οποίο φιλοξενεί μέσα στον Οκτώβριο συνολικά τέσσερις συναυλίες με μεγάλα ονόματα της ελληνικής μουσικής. Στο πλαίσιο του φεστιβάλ, η μοναδική Μαρία Φαραντούρη μάγεψε το βιεννέζικο κοινό παρουσιάζοντας στις 4 Οκτωβρίου έργα του κορυφαίου μας συνθέτη Μίκη Θεοδωράκη, ενώ στις 13 Οκτωβρίου η Ελλη Πασπαλά εντυπωσίασε ερμηνεύοντας δημιουργίες του μεγάλου Μάνου Χατζηδάκη. Η αυλαία του πρωτότυπου αυτού κύκλου ελληνικής μουσικής θα κλείσει με το Διονύση Σαββόπουλο, ο οποίος στις 27 Οκτωβρίου αναμένεται να παρουσιάσει τη μουσική που έχει γράψει για τους «Αχαρνής» και τον «Πλούτο» του Αριστοφάνη, καθώς και μια ανθολογία δικών του τραγουδιών. Το Φεστιβάλ «Τα παιδιά του Ολύμπου» στο «Μέγαρο Συναυλιών Βιέννης» με τις τέσσερις αυτές συναυλίες για το ελληνικό τραγούδι, γίνεται για πρώτη φορά στο εξωτερικό και πρόθεση είναι η προσπάθεια να συνεχιστεί τόσο στην Αυστρία όσο και σε άλλες χώρες στο εξωτερικό σε ανάλογη ή παρόμοια μορφή. Το Φεστιβάλ εντάσσεται στο «Ελληνικό φθινόπωρο στη Βιέννη» που στόχο του έχει την παρουσίαση χαρακτηριστικών όσο και διαφορετικών πλευρών του ελληνικού πολιτισμού του τελευταίου αιώνα, στη Βιέννη, που θεωρείται πρωτεύουσα της μουσικής και αποτελεί ένα από τα ιστορικότερα πολιτιστικά κέντρα της Ευρώπης. Tσιτσάνης στη Bιέννη

Στην πόλη των παλατιών και της κλασικής μουσικής, στη Βιέννη, ταξιδεύει αυτές τις μέρες η ελληνική μουσική με ένα ευρύ πρόγραμμα που ξεκίνησε τον Σεπτέμβριο και φτάνει μέχρι τα τέλη Οκτωβρίου. Σκοπός του ταξιδιού (που πραγματοποιεί η ελληνική πρεσβεία στη Βιέννη με κύριο χορηγό τον Οργανισμό Προβολής Ελληνικού Πολιτισμού σε συνεργασία με το υπουργείο Εξωτερικών) είναι να παρουσιάσει χαρακτηριστικές αλλά και διαφορετικές πλευρές του σύγχρονου πολιτισμού μας. Αύριο στο ονομαστό Konzerthaus της Βιέννης θα ακουστεί Τσιτσάνης. Ο Γιώργος Νταλάρας μαζί με τις νεώτερες Μελίνα Ασλανίδου και Σοφία Παπάζογλου διαλέγουν κομμάτια του Τσιτσάνη που καλύπτουν όλο το φάσμα των τραγουδιών του. Τσιτσάνης δίπλα στον Μότσαρτ. Εδώ που τα λέμε, μια καλή ευκαιρία να δώσουν τα χέρια...

However (as almost) there have been some deviations between what has been printed and what has been really sung by Giorgos, Melina Aslanidou and Sofia Papazoglu. Mostly, as far as I remember, they began according to the list, except the first one which was omitted. KANE LIGAKI YPOMONI has been sung earlier, at the end of the first Tsitsanis part. After I MAJISSA TIS ARAPIAS followed, I'm sure, NICHTES MAGIKES - ARAPINES (as it does in the Tsitsanis DVD, and which I like very much).

Between part A and part B (no interrupt !) there was a very well known instrumental, which I can't remember the title. WHO KNOWS ?? (and at wich disc e.g. I can find it).

During part B I was not so sure any more of what has been really sung.

I made question marks after titles where I'm not at all sure, and NO where I believe it was not sung. Please correct me if you can or post a new list.

In supplement we heard 'Mi mou thimonis matia mou' and a further one which I knew also but don't know the title.

Well, someone is so lucky here. He happens to live in the city of Beethoven and Johann Strauss Jr., and now will get a visit from Dalaras himself. What more can he ask?

Will Mr. "Agapisso" Remos be with Dalaras?

let me tell you that the concert was sold out before i heard about it and i didn't get in even for the second set...
