I'll try the Americans ones.

The last order that I post was in www.amazon.com (Ta Xromata tou xronou - The colours of time Vol. I and II).

They took 3 weeks to send those CD's, but "George Dalaras & The Israel Philarmonic Orchestra" arrive in only one week.

Unfortunately for me, there are no Dalaras offer in mexican sites, if any one knows a site (or a place) in Mexico where tu buy Dalaras music I'll apreciate the info. I allready try mixup, tower records, ghandi and Pendulo stores, and when you ask for greek music they think that you are looking for Zorba the Greek (good music, but of course the greek music is more than that).

The Toronto site is nice too.

Has anyone ever tried to order CDs on line from http://www.musical.gr ?

I have (bad experience, unfortunately). I have, by the end of July, ordered 6 cDs that I couldn't find from my favourite on line shop. They sent me a mail that informed me that 2 of the CDs were out of stock. I answered them back and asked them to send me the 4 CDs they had. No answer so far, two months later !!!

I don't know what to think, and will certainly not try that store again !!!

Francois, I am so sure what I will tell you is true as I would be if I were musical.gr myself.

If they didn't come back to you, they probably didn't read your email! I personally know the man for more than 6 years. I can't describe him now in a post, but don't critisize them. The person who owes it has had problems many times with the company that built the online store. If you still want them, inform him back. I am very confident regarding this person and his shop.

What else can I do but criticize them when they don't even answer the phone, when they have my credit card details, etc...

I have had only good experiences with the company during one and a half year now, I even got a christmas card from him, but a month ago I ordered some records that have not arrived, nor have I had any confirmation of the order being recieved. I suppose that there is something wrong with the online-shop at present. But it is a good shop really.

so something like that in total: 2610620222 and of course 0030 in the begining!! So: 00302610620222 !!

I phoned them this morning, talked with a guy who apologized and told me he would do what has to be done to send me my order...

I have almost the identical experience with www.musical.gr as Francois!!!

In September last year (!) I ordered 8 CDs. The owner of the shop immediately replied and told me that 2 of them "are temporarily out of stock in our store and therefore your order will be delayed for 2-3 business days until all items are available".

I never heard from him again nor did I receive any of the 8 CDs!!

Now (at the beginning of July) I made a new order (other CDs). The receipt of the order was (automatically) verified, but no more reaction from the shop. I asked by e-mail for information about the old order and the new one. No answer until now!

I have never experienced such behaviour by any other online-shop.

Does someone have similar experiences with www.musical.gr οr informations what's the matter with this shop?

(Concerning a telephone call, I must admit that I am not willing to spend my money for such a call only because the shop is not able or not willing to communicate with its customers. :mad:)

Τον Σεπτέμβριο του περασμένου χρόνου (!) παρήγγειλα 8 CD στο www.musical.gr. Ο καταστηματάρχης με ενημέρωησε ότι η ολοκλήρωση της παραγγελίας μου θα καθυστερήσει για 2-3 εργάσιμες ημέρες (δήθεν επειδή 2 από τα CD δεν ήταν σε στοκ). Ποτέ πια δεν έλαβα άλλο μήνυμα ούτε κανένα από τα 8 CD!

Τώρα (στις αρχές Ιουλίου) παρήγγειλα πάλι (άλλα) CD. (Αυτόματη) επιβεβαιώση της παραγγελίας έλαβα, κατά τα άλλα, όμως, σιωπή. Ούτε σε πρόσθετο e-mail που τους έγραψα (ρωτώντας για τις δύο παραγγελίες που εκκρεμόυν) δεν απάντησαν.

Μήπως κάποιος έχει παρόμοιες αρνητικές εμπειρίες με το www.musical.gr ή τίποτε πληροφορίες τι γίνεται με αυτό το κατάστημα;

The very first time I ordered by www.musical.gr I didn't get any reply and had to remind them my order. But after two emails everything was clear and some days later I got my CD's.

But this was the only time I had to wait a bit, since then, everything went very well

In my case it happens obviously the other way around: In the past I had made two or three orders which were carried out without problems. The difficulties started with my last two orders.

Very strange ...

(Fortunately I find now some of the CDs in other shops, so I started to cancel my orders at musical.gr. )
