North American tour

As with any Great Tour from any Renowned International Artist &

after a long succcessful Musical Career, one asks how much more can he do and remain on top for so long?

Very few artists last for 20 yrs and yet fewer artists then that last around 30 & 40 yrs. Dalaras is still aroud today.

Alot of people who grew up with them are now older themselves and not so much into the music scene or as much interested in knowing when he's in the spotlight still or worse to know how often. :D

With that in mind, one asks, why Dalaras would even bother to colloborate with a younger artist and not someone of his own peer or caliber?

But the answer is more then just a straight forward question.

To understand this completely, its best to look at it from an abstract point of view as well:

You see don't forget, Dalaras himself was quite young when he started singing (still in his teens) and very few Rembetiko or Laiko singers from that time Didn't take him very seriously. They all thought he was too young not old enough, not experienced enough, not seasoned enough etc.,

So but Perpiniadis however did find something in him as did Bithikotsis & Marinella. They gave him his break. 2 yrs later BOOM

His 1st CD is released and the Rest is History.

So with that in mind, its not hard to see Dalaras returning the favor to new aspiring artists who have potential in becoming a phenomen of their own years later down the road.

Whoe's to say that Dalaras hasn't told Hatziyannis or Yannis Vardis, Babis Stokas, etc., that remember when you became famous don't forget to remember your roots and contribute in helping someone else down the line to give them their big starting break.

Because these young audiences they have now who follow the young artists are going to be next in line to grow older with these artists as the years go by. And so on and so on.

And if Dalaras helps to reach a new younger crowd now through a younger artist the more power to him. The same can be said of Hatziannis, Remos, Vardis, & Stokas someday as they get older, they will sing with new uprising artists and hopefully attract & target a newer young fresh audience as the audience they grew up with diminishes over time as there no longer into the music scene as they were in they're youth. Passed down the kinship to their next generation and so forth.

That is why I think Dalaras has chosen young Mihalis for this tour of his.

But as in any case whomever Dalaras should choose to accompany him. Never allow the selected secondary artist too due more on stage then from the Primary named artist
