The concert will take place at a specially designed venue which will be allocated for this purpose by the Hellenic Copper Mines Ltd, at the edge of the mine located near the cease fire line. On the one side the Troodos Mountains and the other the occupied territories of Cyprus. The concert will have a festive character as it coincides with the 40th anniversary of Dalaras presence in Cyprus. Hence the repertoire will range from Vamvakaris to Tsitsanis and Bithikotsis. Together with George Dalaras on the stage will be the great traditional instrument player from Crete Michalis Tzouganakis and the Cypriot singer Despina Olympiou.
