Posted July 31, 2010 · Report post Για την αποψινή συναυλία στη Λευκωσία, δημοσίευμα της εφημερίδας "Φιλελεύθερος" ΣΕειδικά διαμορφωμένο συναυλιακό χώρο στο ιστορικό Μεταλλείο της Σκουριώτισσας εμφανίζεται απόψε ο Γιώργος Νταλάρας. 25 χρόνια μετά την πρώτη του διεθνή περιοδεία, ταξιδεύει και πάλι την ελληνική μουσική στους πιο μεγάλους και ξεχωριστούς συναυλιακούς χώρους. «Ανθολόγιο» είναι ο τίτλος του μεγάλου αυτού μουσικού ταξιδιού, που περιλαμβάνει επιτυχίες από την αρχή της μουσικής του πορείας μέχρι την τελευταία δισκογραφική του δουλειά «Γι αυτό υπάρχουνε οι φίλοι», αλλά και ειδικό αφιέρωμα στους Έλληνες μετανάστες. Την αποψινή συναυλία συδιοργανώνουν οι 13 κοινότητες της Σολιάς. Τον χώρο παραχωρεί ειδικά για την παράσταση η Ηellenic Copper ΜinesLtd, στις παρυφές του μεταλλείου που βρίσκεται πάνω στη διαχωριστική γραμμή, με φόντο από τη μια το Τρόοδος και από την άλλη τα κατεχόμενα, μέχρι τη θάλασσα του Ξερού. Posted August 6, 2010 · Report post I don't know if this is the reason, but what I know is that I recently was in Rhodes. I asked than about the concert and I was told that there might be a problem with it taking place at the Ancient Theater, because that is a fragile protected ancient place and they do not usually allow concerts there. I also found out that previously they did not allow a similar concert to take place there, for the same protective reasons. Now, instead, the other option would have been a place called Tafros, in the old city...but that one is a too small place...unproper for such a concert. I will also tell what I think...I stayed in Rhodes for a month and I had no concert to go...there was no Greek concert, no Greek show, no theater no nothing...Isn't that quite unusual for a summer period in Greece? Even if that is on an island? I mean, in Rhodes, which is an absolutely beautiful island, with rich history and landscapes, I lacked Greek modern culture! I missed a concert, anything, something...So maybe the people in charge (municipality, cultural authority in Rhodes) should think about that. Rhodes is a magnific place, a splendid island, which needs and deserves also modern Greek culture, that includes music and concerts, and if the ancient Theater can not stand a concert another proper place should be found. The local population and a lot of tourists would love to go to concerts in Rhodes, and specially great concerts as only Dalaras can do! (When tourists go in Greece, they want to have the occasion to listen to Greek music, not their homeland music at the mp3 player!). That is why am so dissapointed that they did not allow (again) this concert to happen in Rhodes! PS. Protecting ancient cultural values is not a reason from preventing modern cultural values! Posted June 4, 2011 · Report post Πάντως για τη συναυλία στο Κατράκειο στο "Βήμα" γράφει 12 Σεπτεμβρίου και όχι Ιουλίου Νίκαια Ο Δήμος Νίκαιας στο Κατράκειο Θέατρο διοργανώνει εκδηλώσεις από τις 12 Ιουλίου ως το τέλος Σεπτεμβρίου. Περιλαμβάνονται μεταξύ άλλων: «Αχαρνής» από το Ανοιχτό Θέατρο (12/7), συναυλία με τον Γρηγόρη Μπιθικώτση για τα 50 χρόνια προσφοράς του (13/7), «Ειρήνη » από τον Θεατρικό Οργανισμό Κύπρου (22/7), συναυλία με τον Γιώργο Νταλάρα (12/9), συναυλία Διονύση Τσακνή, Λαυρέντη Μαχαιρίτσα και Βασίλη Παπακωνσταντίνου (27/9).
