Translator's note: «Youlbahar» is a woman's name and the title of a song by Tsitsanis, one of his "oriental" songs.

The root "gul" is actually Persian and means Rose.

(actually it's not «u» but «''+u», but my screen is set for Greek, so it won't show accentend roman characters properly - sorry Rose!).

The mututal influences between Greek and Turkish music are generally recognized and acknowledged, but actually the "mistress" is the Persian classical music tradition.
