Posted June 27, 2007 · Report post ΣΤΟ ΣΕΙΡΙΟ ΥΠΑΡΧΟΥΝΕ ΠΑΙΔΙΑ In the discography section of this forum the lyrics to the song Ston Seirio yparxoune paidia are attributed to Manos Xatzidakis, however I have both versions of the song on "To elliniko prosopo tou ND" and on Xatzidakis' "Sto seirio yparxoune paidia" and on both sleeves the lyrics are attributed to Nikos Gatsos!? Posted June 27, 2007 · Report post Hi, Alona: It seems you have good knowledge of discography: I am interested in discography of D. Lagios (except of those well-known recordings with participation of Dalaras such as Erotiki prova, Ina ti, etc.). Sorry if my question is misplaced. Posted July 20, 2007 · Report post First, let me say, that the album "Sto seirio yparxoune paidia" is wrongly included in Dalaras' discography. I mean, that the song (with the same title) was released in the album "To elliniko prosopo tou Giorgou Dalara" which was released a little earlier, than the album "Sto seirio yparxoune paidia". Both albums contain the same version of the song. So, in my opinion, the album "Sto seirio yparxoune paidia", in a sense, is a compilation album, so, there is no need to be included in Dalaras' official discography, since we don't include any compilation. Now, to your question. The lyrics of the song "Sto seirio yparxoune paidia" are written by the great Greek poet Nikos Gatsos (Νίκος Γκάτσος).
