Looking for the lyrics of 2 songs

4 posts in this topic

Hello,

I'm new here. My name is Omar. I'm a big fan of the music of Dalaras and I'm from Tunisia. Please can somebody help me find the lyrics of "Δεν έχω μάηα να σε δω" and "Yiad Anouga" (in Greek characters)?

I like a lot these 2 songs and I couldn't find their lyrics on the internet.

And if possible an English translation for them.

I'd appreciate your help!

Hi Omar!

The first song is "Ο ουρανός φεύγει βαρύς"

Here are the greek lyrics and the english translation:

And the other is here, but it is in latin characters and there's not an english translation...

I corrected here and there the mistakes in latin

Yad Anuga

Lyrics: Zalman Schneour

Music: Traditional Bedouin

Arrangement in the original version: Shem-Tov Levi

Ho, yad anouga hayta la

Ho, a tender hand she had

ish lo he'ez ga'at ba

No one dared touch it

zoug sfateyha shanee-chen

Her lips crimson-charm

ho ima, rak linshikot notsrou hen

ho mamma, for kisses only they were created

Ho, a' yin schora hayta la

Ho, raven's eye she had

or vatzel hitnagshou ba

Light and shade clashed in it

al mitzcha ra'ad or

On her forehead, light had trembled

tal ha' yaldout male hod

Childhood's dew full of grace

ho ima, tal hayldout male

Childhood's dew full of grace

Ho, vayehi erev vayehi leyl

Ho, there was evening, there was night

cheresh nashak tsel et tsel

Silently shade kissed shade

az et liba masra lo

Then, she gave him her heart

et kol liba masra lo

All of heart she gave him

ho ima, et kol liba masra lo

Ho mamma, she gave him all her heart
