Massage for the Greek soul

The Greek singer George Dalaras enthusiastic in the Jahrhunderthalle Höchst with his successes in recent decades.

Who listens to Greece thinking, currently mostly in crisis. But music legend George Dalaras sat in the nearly sold-out Centennial Hall at last a different accent. The 61-year-old presented the predominantly Greek crowd on the "Encore"-Tour (Encore Tour) his greatest successes, accompanied by the lute player and singer Michalis Tzouganakis Despina Olympiou. New songs sung by the Greeks, whose first European tour 25 years ago, not this time.

Cast a small shadow of the crisis yet. "Some German are" stayed away apparently, Peter Hermann, a spokesman for "Greece on tour" finds. The Greeks, among them harmony player Ioannis Amanatidis took the songs on their artist all the more enthusiastic. sees "In our country it is not good, but tonight we are here," Dalaras told at the beginning.

Even someone who does not understand the language, succumbed to the magic of the melodies. Sometimes one has to search the land of the Greeks, not just in the news. Καλό το κείμενο αλλά σε δύο σημεία δεν έχει και πολύ δίκαιο. Το nearly sold-out είναι λίγο υπερβολικό, όταν είχε 4 καθίσματα άδεια μόνο (το έψαξα στο site την προηγούμενη μέρα). Το ίδιο και το δεν υπήρχαν νέα τραγούδια, όταν άρχισε με το Εκεί που οι φίλοι συναντιούνται.

Όσο για το αν επηρέασε η κρίση τους Γερμανούς και αυτό το βρίσκω κάπως υπερβολικό, μια και οι Γερμανοί είμαι σίγουρη πως έκλεισαν τα εισιτήρια από τον Δεκέμβριο και ήταν μαζικά παρόντες.

Ένας ακόμη λόγος που χαίρομαι που υπάρχει αντιπροσώπευση στις συναυλίες από το forum, είναι και για την ορθότητα κάποιων κειμένων. Προσωπικά δίνω μεγάλη σημασία κι ευχαριστώ, thes, για την αποκατάσταση των πραγμάτων.

Ένας ακόμη λόγος που χαίρομαι που υπάρχει αντιπροσώπευση στις συναυλίες από το forum, είναι και για την ορθότητα κάποιων κειμένων. Προσωπικά δίνω μεγάλη σημασία κι ευχαριστώ, thes, για την αποκατάσταση των πραγμάτων.

Στο μεταξύ το ξανασκέφτηκα το δημοσίευμα. Τελικά είναι πιο ανακριβές, πιθανότατα όχι από κακή πρόθεση, από ό,τι αρχικά νόμισα. Διότι πριν από μία περίπου εβδομάδα το site με τις κρατήσεις θέσεων για Φρανκφούρτη και Ντύσσελντορφ έλεγε ότι λόγω της μεγάλης ζήτησης στη Φρανκφούρτη θα βάλουν και πρόσθετα πλαϊνά καθίσματα στην αίθουσα (πράγμα που όπως φαίνεται συμβαίνει και σε άλλες περιπτώσεις σύμφωνα με το site της αίθουσας). Και όντως υπήρχαν καθίσματα σε τέτοια σημεία στο πλάι που δεν μπορούσες να δεις τη σκηνή και διερωτηθήκαμε αν υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που πλήρωσαν γι αυτά.

Αν αυτό λέγεται nearly sold-out τότε είχε χώρο να βάλλουν καρέκλες και στις σκάλες.

Γιατί -ειδικά για την Φρανκφούρτη- ειχαμε την δυνατότητα να δούμε (μέσω ενός video) πως δεν έπεφτε καρφίτσα!

It's Ulf Buchheld, a good old German friend of Giorgos Dalaras. He was also envolved with the CD "live & unplugged" from Frankfurt Opera. You can read the thanks in the booklet of the CD.

Frankfurt was a splendid concert!!! I had some stress before, as the ordered taxi didnt come, but I was lucky to find one in the street. So I was at Jahrhunderthalle at 20.00h, but, as always they didnt start in time, time for me to relax a little bit
