Στό Σείριο ύπαρχουνε παιδιά

Let's hope this is the right place to post my request.

I'm looking for the Spanish text of F.Garcia Lorca's poem

"En sirio hay ninos"  (sorry for the missing tilde...) which Nikos Gatsos translated/adapted in Greek.

Anyone has it ? Francois maybe ? since it is your song ? ;)

Someone else ?  :D

Merci Francois !

Nothing like the Dalaras club to receive a prompt anwser !!!!

If it might help, here is the reference given in the big book containing 'ola ta tragoudia' from N. Gatsos :

....Cometa (Νύχτα, σουίτα γιά πιάνο καί φωνή συγκινημένη)

I found it Annette, but you are going to be disappointed: the poem is entitled "COMETA", and it goes like this:

COMETA

En Sirio

hay ninos.

It is the twelfth poem of the suite "Noche", Suite para piano y voz emocionada (15 very short poems).

I can e-mail you the whole suite if you like, but I'll have to type it or scan it.

Sorry, I had to delete the post with my link because that link had expired. It would be nice if you could tell me how to transform wave files into mp3 files.

It's very simply francois. There are varius programs for this purpuse. I suggest you download the "AudioCatalyst v 2.1". You will find it almost everywhere. Try  www.download.com . If you download it, then it's very easy. From the tag "mp3" you choose the bitrate of the mp3 you are going to make (I suggest 112 or 128 kbps). Then look for a button that says "Create an mp3 now". Click on it, and select the wav file you want to convert. So simple. In a few seconds the mp3 file is made.

I hope I've helped you.

Good luck.  ;)
