In his 5th visit here, Ntalaras will give 2 concerts end september, which proceeds will be donated to "Physicians for Human Rights" organization.

The Greek veteran singer and musician Ntalaras will return to Israel with two concerts: the first will take place in September 24, in the Mann Auditorium in Tel Aviv (Heichal Hatarbut) and the second, in September 27, in the Amphitheater National Park (The ancient Amphitheatre in Caesaria). Ntalaras will be accompanied by 10 musicians and two guests artists (singers). Ticket prices between 199 and 379 NIS. In his concerts, Ntalaras will sing new as well as old numbers.

Eights years ago, Ntalaras, one of the most prominent Greek singers, arrived here for the last time and it was his 5th visit to Israel. This time he arrives in the scope of an international world tour that will include United States, Canada, Australia and Europe. In his last visit in 1998, Ntalaras appeared with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ntalaras began releasing albums during the 70's until today and he sold millions of copies. Over the years he collaborated with great musicians such as Sting, Gethro Thull and Bruce Springsteen.

Ntalaras is also known as a peace-seeking artist and as a recognition for his efforts he was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador by the UNHCR, such according to his producers.

It was reported that all proceeds from his first show in Israel Ntalaras will contribute to the organization "Physicians for Human Rights - Israel".

Mr. Moshe Yosef is responsible for the production.

The return of Dalaras

George Dalaras, better known simply as Dalaras, is coming to Israel for two performances, one on September 24 in Tel Aviv and the other September 27 in Caesaria. The beloved singer is one of the most renowned celebrities in Greece and has earned an international reputation for his music. Since the 1970s, Dalaras has recorded more than 120 records. He has sung numerous different Greek music styles (e.g. rebetiko, laïkó, Latin, pop), Israeli and Arabic music, and religious music. This visit will mark his fifth time in Israel. He hasnt been here for eight years. This time he plans to bring 10 musicians and two guest singers with him.

Tickets cost NIS 199-379 and can be purchased through Castel by calling 03-604-5000.

The transmission will start at 21:00 hours Israel/Greece time. I

believe also CET time by then.

Tonight there is a reception at the Greek Ambassador's home for Ntalaras.

Tomorrow night, Mira Awad will sing next to Ntalaras at the Mann Auditorium in the concert of which proceeds will be donated to Physicians for Human Rights.

On Tuesday morning, the President of Israel Mr. Shimon Peres will receive Ntalaras at his residence.
