The unity of body and mind is the theme in this song as well as in Nikos Kazantzakis' Alexis Zorbas. The German word 'beseelt' - which I took instead of Seibekiko - expresses that somebody is led by his soul. //damit du mich nicht allein laesst. //hinausfaehrst und zurueckkehrst. //bereist du all das was ich liebe, κύμα η ψυχή μου και κρατήσου //meine Wellen und meine Seele, doch halt dich fest, πάντα θα ψάχνει να σωθεί //sie suchen erhalten zu bleiben σένα ζεϊμπέκικο κορμί //in einem beseelten K?rper, μέσστο ζεϊμπέκικο κορμί σου //in deinem beseelten K?rper. Posted November 7, 2002 · Report post Sorry, for the ?s ! I must repeat it, but the subdescription to the topic unfortunately can't be no corrected. Posted November 9, 2002 · Report post Danke, Herbert! Danke, Herbert..

Posted November 11, 2002 · Report post Olga, what if the translations are in a language that we don't understand? The only solution: learn Greek, immediately !!!

Olga. There is one thing I would like to say: all members have the right to post what they want to say in their own language, and it's their own problem when they don't find enough people who could answer. If we all spoke Greek in a state that is almost comparible , we wouldn't have the necessity of translations. Of course the best case, we all were good in Greek ! But it's not the case ! And this is why the forum is so useful ! And any translation, whichever language it may be, can be a contribution to a better inderstanding. Herbert
