For me: "Queens of Fado", Fernanda Baptista, Ontem a Noite,

Margarita Bessa: Fado da Defesa.

So, look, Franz, our thoughts are not so far one from another!

Well, after this hearing  of "Coimbra" of Giorgos again and again I must have found something like that exactly in these days!!

O.

SICHER! Bisher hat sich alles gut geregelt, Gott sei Dank!

(uups, sorry, it's only my first reaction for German-speaking people...) As consolation for the others: after my last trip to Greece I say sometimes a Greek word during speaking to Germans in my work.

What a song, this "Coimbra..."

:D

Οι ελεύθεροι κι οι ωραίοι

I've loved that song so much, for such a long time - and I never seen to play it.

Sooo different songs for now, you all?

"Ceterum censeo...": Coimbra.

Plus "Byzantinos Esperinos", No. 1.

Sorry, I am too lazy today  to give the whole title.

Niki, απο καρδιας

Today: Παλλίροια, because I've been intending to play it since I got up and am only just going to manage it before midnight.

And for today, ηχοχρώματα

because of him (of course), and in spite of her...

and because it's the first Dalaras of the new day - thank you, mr. Fokas!

Ceterum censeo: ]

1. Coimbra,

2. Byzantinos Esperinos 1, and Mikra Asia

3. Φερτε μου νερο - as a dazzling memory of the Berlin Concert 6.06.2001   (Anna, a great smile)

and an expection of that one, which is coming.

Francois, you mentioned one of my beloved songs -

and don't be upset you can't go, please.

Everybody who can't come personally would have a great "individual concert" at home.

And, PROMISED, I will think of you  all when I am there.

It's obvious, Francois:

this is the same way I was in Zygos to the concert time,

as I saw the club two weeks later, thanks to Anna, Niki and Kate,

I felt so, as if I had been there during the celebration itself,

and in this time  I was more on the website than in Cracow,

I had a perfect feast here, and I am still grateful, grateful, grateful...

If you will help us, look please to Ge(e)ske's translation of "An deis ston ypno sou erimia" and find the most suitable word for "Panagia" for us.

And more synonyms for "erimia" as well, OK?

Merci, ευχαριστω και εγω,

Olgitsa

549 years after what, Nikolas? Sorry, I need some brainstorming...

As I see, we would need a new topic: "Greek history in Greek music" or sth like that. If it's already on the website, let me know, where, it's beginning to be too huge for me.

If not, let's begin and I hope all the Greek speaking people would help us with their knowledge. Etsi;

Olgitsa
