I just had a look at the website www.dalaras.gr.

They annouced new concerts, some we know already, but these are new!

Dalaras is going to:

Patras 16.06.2002

Cyprus 18. - 22.06.2002 ( Lynne!!!)

Nauplia 29.06.2002

Who's coming to Cyprus?  I'm trying to find out the exact dates and places and will let you know, probably will be two nights in Nicosia and two in Limassol.  If we're lucky one in Larnaca as well, that's 5 nights, but unlikely he will play for all the evenings.

In Arxaio Odeio really??? It's just for 2000-3000 people only!

But the singers are very close to the audience and all the times I've been there, it was like being a 'family' with them :-)

I think we'll have to find tickets soon!!!

I think that concerts with small audiences are the best concerts. You can see the artists properly, they are really close to you!

Giorgo, one!!!! day before they announced the upcoming concerts I booked my flight to Karpathos!

Karpathos is the same as Alex'polis, means at the end of Greece, one in the north, one in the south!!

So, you see I'm in Greece exactly this time, but.......

how do I get from there to the places where the Dalaras' concerts are!!!!!!

As Dalaras is able to swim from Athens to Berlin, I think I can do it from Karpathos to Cyprus!

I have some news! In a newspaper I've just read :

"Dalaras is inteded to give less than 10 concerts in Thessaloniki at the "Theatro Gis."

"Giorgos Dalaras is going to give a concert in Budapest (8/6) and from 2 to 6 of July he will be at Germany where he will participate in two ethnic festivals."

you should start in thessaloniki and then rest in karpathos and then swim to Cyprus. Maybe you can swim to israel as well???

Karpathos has to wait a little for me!

Now I'm going to Cyprus ( by plane!) so, no problem to swim from there to Israel!
